I have two cats Ziggy (black) and Meeko (gray).  I have had them since Oct 2019.  Ziggy is super fluffy and loves to play with her little hamburger toy.  Meeko likes to sit with his legs over the side of their cat tree.

Hello!! I am Jennifer Demaree and I was born in Knoxville, TN but grew up in Winfield, KS. I graduated from Winfield High School in May 2012. While in high school I played basketball, soccer, and tennis, I had leadership roles in the school art club, also. In the summer I did competitive swimming and basketball. I was also part of the South Kansas Symphony and the Southwestern College Youth Symphony.  I have been playing the violin since 5th grade, 17 years!

Then I went to Emporia State University. While there I played the violin in the Emporia Symphony Orchestra, the ESU chamber orchestra, and ESU small chamber ensembles (even played the viola in one ensemble!). I also founded and conducted the Amateur Recreational Chamber Orchestra (ARCO), and was the Symphony and Chamber orchestra's manager and librarian. I graduated from Emporia State in May 2017. Then I taught in Great Bend for 3 years and played in the Hutchinson Symphony. 🎻 Here in AZ I have joined the Scottsdale Philharmonic and am excited for my second year teaching here!

At ESU I had the opportunity to play the 2nd violin solo with my friend Sara, on the Double Violin Concerto by Vivaldi.
